Sending documents is faster and easier with role-based templates. You can customize standard document templates with any role to be used later in just a few clicks.
Start by selecting "Standard Signing Templates" and uploading the document that you wish to turn into a template.
Click "Add Role" in the right panel. Give a name to the new custom role and assign a color from the color pallette.
Select the fields you want to assign to the role and choose whether to make them required or not.
When you select the template to use add a recipient and choose which role the participant will sign as.
If you also need to sign the document, you will automatically be listed in the dropdown as a Preparer. Any field assigned to this role will be automatically assigned to you.
